SIRIUS CANADA AND XM CANADA COMPLETE MERGER

June 21st, 2011 marks an exciting day in the evolution of satellite radio in Canada. This is the day we announced that we have successfully concluded the merger of Sirius Canada and XM Canada, and the new combined company will operate as SiriusXM Canada. With more than 1.8 million subscribers and the best content available anywhere, we believe this is great news for our subscribers, our shareholders, and our partners. The combined organization will be stronger financially, and better positioned to compete in the audio entertainment environment.

We also look forward to continuing to innovate from a hardware, technology and programming standpoint. We’ll be looking closely at both programming line-ups and listening to what our subscribers want from us, starting with expanding our Canadian content offering with the launch of a channel dedicated to aboriginal content later this summer. There are exciting new products and services on the horizon, and we look forward to bringing them to you in the very near future.

In five short years, we’ve gone from zero to almost two million subscribers with your support. As we continue to grow, we’re committed to the very best experience for you, our customers; from the quality of our exclusive content, to seamless coast-to-coast coverage, to our customer support team, which year after year has lead to a 95% customer satisfaction score.

For now, it’s business as usual. You can continue to interact with us as you have in the past, and there will be no changes to your programming or packages. All current radios will work as they do today, as will all of our online services and mobile apps.

We couldn’t have done this without you, and we are more excited than ever about the future of satellite radio in Canada.

We will continue to keep you updated through our monthly subscriber newsletter
XM Signal, and our website at www.xmradio.ca.
